"I would like to congratulate you, Tori, on following through with your vision of a FAST of America. I also want to acknowledge each and every person who is choosing to participate in making this become a reality. A FAST of America can be a model for supporting the successful financial future of elders. And, with any luck at all, each of you will have the opportunity to become an elder and experience the satisfaction of knowing that your efforts in starting this program benefit everyone. It is the hard work of each of you that will make this project a success and I wish you all the best of luck.”
Joan Virginia Allen, Esq.
Founder and First Coordinator of the Orange County Santa Barbara
County and Ventura County FASTS in California
MEET TORI
Victoria (Tori) Lloyd, Esq. has a long and successful history of involvement in fighting against financial exploitation of elders and vulnerable adults and of using multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs). In 2012, she founded the Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST) of Vermont, bringing together stakeholders from across government, the private sector, and charitable organizations to address the growing problem of elder financial exploitation. In June 2015, she founded FAST of America, a national, member-only MDT, to assist financial exploitation responders from all over the U.S. by providing technical assistance and a nationwide network of practitioners available to offer assistance.
